Ada Bee Harris

Ada Bee Harris, 88, a beloved mother, daughter, and, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Diversicare in Amory, MS. She was born on May 30, 1935 in Hamilton, Monroe County, MS to her loving parents, the late Johnny Harris and Essie Gordon.

Ada had a kind and gentle spirit that touched the lives of all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a pillar of strength for her family and friends, always offering a listening ear and words of encouragement. Ada's warm smile could light up a room, and her laughter was contagious.

Throughout her life, Ada deeply cherished the role of being a mother. Her love for her children, Joe Harris and Bernice Marlowe, knew no bounds. She devoted herself to their happiness and well-being with unwavering dedication. Ada's children were the light of her life, and she took great joy in watching them grow into remarkable individuals.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation service to be held at Sulphur Springs MB Church on Sunday,  January 14, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The church is located on 40009 Church Road in Hamilton, MS 39746.  Those who wish to attend the funeral service can gather at the same location immediately following the visitation beginning at 3:00 PM.

Ada Bee Harris will forever occupy a special place in our hearts. She leaves behind beautiful memories that will be cherished by all who knew her. While we grieve her loss, let us take comfort in the thought that she is now at peace, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her.

In addition to her children, Ada is survived by a host of family members and friends who will miss her dearly. May we find solace in our shared memories and the legacy she leaves behind.
