Andy Hogan Jr was born November 16,1929 to Andy and Georgia Hogan in Aberdeen, MS. He was the ninth child of nine children.
Andy accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at League Chapel. He later joined Pilgrim Rest MB Church where he remained a member until his passing.
He married Earnestine Ware in 1957 and to this union three daughters were born.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, where he served two terms of duty.
He attended school in the Aberdeen School System.
He was a dedicated father and grandfather. He leaves to cherish his memories: three daughters, Minnie McMillian-Aberdeen,MS, Debra Davis-Aberdeen,MS, and Gloria Gardner-Nettleton,MS; five grandchildren, Forrard McMillian(Patrice), Chauncia Henderson(Raphael), Summer Hogan, Shemiah Hogan, and Bryson Gardner and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded on death by: his mother and father; five sisters, Eunice Ware, Essie Hogan, Ida Trotter, Georgia Daniel, and Emma Hogan; and three brothers, Hampton Hogan and Robert Hogan.
