Anthony Darnay Sykes, 52,  beloved son, husband, brother, and friend, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at North MS Medical Center in West Point, MS. He was born on February 22, 1971, in West Point - Clay County - MS to Robert E. Sykes, Jr. (Father) and Ollie Manning (Mother).

Anthony was a remarkable individual who touched the lives of all who knew him. His kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love and support for his family and friends will forever be remembered and cherished.

Throughout his life, Anthony exemplified strength and resilience. He faced both joys and challenges with grace and a positive outlook. Anthony was a dedicated husband to his loving wife, Thelma Baskin Sykes, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Their bond was unbreakable, a true testament to their love and commitment.

Anthony had a close-knit family that provided him with endless love and support. His brothers Robert Sykes and Cedric Sykes were not only siblings but also his closest confidants.
