Apostle Ishmel Campbell

Apostle Ishmel Campbell, 73 of Bruce, MS died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013 at the North MS Medical Center in Tupelo.

Ishmel has been married for 52 years, while being married he retired from Weyerhauser as a line supervisor for 25 years. He began pastoring in 1981 and 1987 founded The Church of God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ where he remained pastor until his death. He also was a member of the Dudley and Person Hunting Club and his life revolved around serving God, his family and community.

He is survived by his wife, Georgia Freelon Campbell, 5 sons, Ishmel Earl Campbell, Calhoun City, Allen V. Campbell, Water Valley, MS, Darrick Butch Campbell, Woldorf, MD, Paul Campbell, Calhoun City, and Daniel Campbell, Bruce, 5 daughters, Angela Mhoon, Calhoun City, Melodia Davis, Ecru, MS, Gloria Holland, Calhoun City, MS, Sahara Campbell, Bruce, MS and Ronise Campbell, Calhoun City, MS, 2 brothers, Mitchell and O V Campbell of Bruce, MS, 2 sisters, Rachel Herrod, Water Valley and Ann Robinson, Grenada, 23 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren

Services will be held Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013 at Jackson Chapel M.B. Church in Bruce at @ 2 p.m.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013 at Church of God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ in Calhoun City from 4-6 p.m.

Burial will follow at Church of God our Father Church Cemetery in Calhoun City.
