Barbara Ann Giles

Barbara Ann Giles, 53, born on July 18, 1971, in Pickens County, Alabama, passed away on Thursday,  March 20, 2025, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. A beloved member of her community a dedicated professional, she spent her career working on the assembly line at Mercedes, where her commitment and hard work garnered the respect of her colleagues.

Barbara is survived by her cherished sons, Desean Henderson and Robert Blunt, Jr., as well as her daughter, Elizabeth R. Turnipseed. She also leaves behind her brother, Herman Giles, Jr., and sister, Kinnie Henderson. The love and bond shared with her family will forever be remembered and celebrated.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Herman Giles, and her mother, Marion Blair-Giles. The legacy she leaves behind is one of dedication and love, nurtured through her unwavering support for her family.

A visitation will be held to honor Barbara’s memory on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life service at Mount Pariam Primitive Baptist Church, located near Aliceville, Alabama, beginning at 1:00 PM.

Barbara Ann Giles will be profoundly missed by all who knew her, and her spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
