Charles Jerome Gilleylen, 54, of Monroe County, MS, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024, at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. Charles was born on May 22, 1969, and during his time with us, he touched the lives of many with his kindness and warmth.
A Visitation will be held in honor of Charles at Smith Chapel Holiness Church in Aberdeen, MS, on Sunday, April 28, 2024, starting at 1:00 PM. This will be followed by a Funeral Service at the same location at 2:00 PM to celebrate his life and legacy.
Charles is survived by his beloved Mother, Emma Dobbs-Blaylock; caring Brother, David Gilleylen; and devoted Sister, Felicia Gilleylen. He was preceded in death by his Father, Charles Edward Gilleylen.
Charles will be remembered for his gentle spirit and unwavering love for his family. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
May he rest in peace as his memory lives on in the hearts of those who cherished him.
