Clarence "Bay" Bowen

Clarence  "Bay" Bowen, 98, passed away on  Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, MS. He was born on April 22, 1926, in Egypt, Mississippi. Clarence was a beloved son of the late Walter Bowen, his father and Ida McClendon, his mother.

Clarence's life will be celebrated in two significant events. The first event is a Visitation scheduled to take place on Friday,  August 16, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen, MS. The second event is a Celebration of Life ceremony that will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, starting at 1:00 PM at Zion Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Okolona, MS.

Those left to cherish Clarence's memory include his surviving family and friends who were blessed by his presence throughout the years. While Clarence may have departed this world physically, he will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

May we all remember Clarence Bowen not with sorrow but with joy for having had the privilege of knowing such a remarkable individual. His kindness and warmth will be dearly missed but never forgotten. May he rest in peace knowing that he was loved and valued by many.
