Darius Marquelle Smith

On Sunday, June 16, 2024, the world lost a beloved soul, Darius Marquelle Smith, 23, who passed away in Orange Beach Alabama. He was born on September 25, 2000, in West Point - Clay County - MS.

Darius will always be remembered for his kindness, compassion, and radiant smile that could light up any room. His life so many around him and his memory will forever be cherished.

He is survived by his father, Leroy Smith and mother, Elizabeth Blanchard - Smith. Darius leaves behind his sisters: Desiree Blanchard, Latoya Polk, Rashonda Hughes; grandmother, Earlene Smith; and grandfather, Earl (Jessie) Smith; and a very special friend, Anna Clair Hendrix. 

Darius is preceded in death by Lilly Mae Blanchard (Grandmother), James Fair (Grandfather), Oliver and Hilda Franklin (Grandparents), and a host of other relatives and friends who were fortunate enough to have known him.

A visitation in loving memory of Darius will take place on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Amory, MS. Following this, a Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, starting at 1:00 PM at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Aberdeen, MS.

During this time of mourning and remembrance, let us honor the beautiful life of Darius Marquelle Smith and find solace in the lasting impact he had on all those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace knowing he was deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
