David Earl Powell

 David Earl Powell, 62, a beloved husband, father, son, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Calhoun City, MS. He was born on October 17, 1961, in Lambert - Quitman County, MS to his father, George David Powell, and his mother, Rosie Marie Booker - Powell.

David leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever be remembered by his surviving family and friends. He is survived by his devoted wife, Virginia Woodard - Powell; loving son, David Earl Powell, Jr. and his daughter, Tanisha Marie Powell; as well as his supportive sisters Annie Riggins, Cleo Dellasandro, and Linda Craddox.

In the hearts of those who knew him best, David will always be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to his family. His presence touched the lives of many and his memory will continue to live on through the stories shared by those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

The visitation for David Earl Powell will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce, MS. The funeral service to honor his life will take place on Thursday, April 4, 2024, starting at 1:00 PM at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Calhoun City.
