Della Mae Carter

Della Mae Carter, 82, born on June 25, 1942, in Mantee, Webster County, Mississippi, peacefully departed this life on March 16, 2025, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Hinds County, Mississippi.

A devoted mother, Della is survived by her loving children: James Carter, Roy Carter, Nathaniel Carter, and her daughter, Mary Jean Carter. Her legacy of love and kindness will surely live on through them.

Della was preceded in death by her dear mother, Kaylean Gandy, who she cherished deeply.

Friends and family are invited to join in a Celebration of Life service to honor Della’s memory on March 29, 2025. The service will be held at Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce, Mississippi, beginning at 1:00 PM, 

Della Mae Carter will be remembered not only for her unwavering dedication to her family but also for the joy she brought to all who knew her. Her spirit will remain forever in the hearts of those she loved and cared for deeply.
