Denasia Monae McGregory

Denasia Monae Mc Gregory, a beloved student at Houston High School, passed away on May 22, 2023 in Prairie, Mississippi at the age of 16. Denasia was born on June 21, 2006 in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Denasia was a talented and bright young girl who loved playing video games and spending time with her friends and family. She was well-liked by her teachers and peers alike. Denasia's family and friends describe her as compassionate, kind-hearted, and always eager to help others.

Denasia is survived by her mother Shirel Harris, father Dennis McGregory, and three brothers: Raeshun McGregory, Dennis McGregory Jr., and Shontavis McGregory. Asia Harris was Denasia's adored sister who preceded her in death.

Denasia's funeral services will be held at Houston High School on June 3rd. The visitation will begin at 10:00am until 12 p.m.  followed by the funeral service at 1:00pm. Both events will be held in the school's auditorium located at 634 South Starkville Street in Houston, Mississippi.

Denasia's passing has left an immense void in the lives of her family members and friends whom she touched with her kindness and indomitable spirit. She will forever be cherished for the joy she brought into their lives.
