Earl Reese, 73, a beloved husband, father, and brother, passed peacefully on Monday, October 21 2024, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo MS. He was born on February 12, 1951, in Prairie, Monroe County, MS, and dedicated his life to those he cherished, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion.
Earl is survived by his cherished wife, Minnie Hogan - Reese, and their 6 sons: Walter Hogan, Undrea Hogan, Roger Hogan, Gary Hogan, Earl Hogan, and Kenny Perkins. He is also survived by his 6 brothers Ben Reese, Jerry Reese, David Reese, Don Reese, Walter Reese, and Willie D. Reese, as well as his 5 sisters Josie Fuller, Shirley Gathings, Mary Helen Langston, Dorothy Johnson, and Murdies Barr. Together, they hold tight the memories and values that Earl imparted throughout his life.
Earl was preceded in death by his father, Roy Reese, Jr., and his mother, Neola Walker, whose love and guidance shaped the man he became. Their memories remain close to the hearts of his family.
A visitation to celebrate Earl's life will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home, located at 216 Hwy 25 South, PO Box 129, Aberdeen, MS 39730. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, November 2, 2024, starting at 2:00 PM, at the Daniel Missionary Baptist Church, 1516 South Matubba Street, Aberdeen, MS 39730.
Earl Reese will be remembered as a pillar of strength for his family, and his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of kindness, generosity, and unwavering love will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on all whose lives he touched.
