Elon Benjamin Roberson

Elon Benjamin Roberson, 88, born on October 6, 1935, bid farewell to this world on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Diversicare in Tupelo, MS.  

Elon was a man of integrity and warmth who touched the lives of many. His presence will be deeply missed by his children:  Willie (Alice) Roberson, Benny (Jenny) Roberson, Dell (April) Roberson (Sons); and siblings: JB Roberson (Brother), and Earentine Roberson Vaughn (Sister).

 He was preceded in death by his father, the Late Johnny Mitchell Roberson and his mother Christanna Ball Roberson; his wife, Magdlean Roberson and one son, Jessie James Roberson; four brothers, Haywood Roberson, John "Bronk" Roberson, M. C. Roberson, and Hermon Roberson; two sisters, Christine Green and Shelby Jean Bell. 

The life of Elon Benjamin Roberson will be celebrated at the Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Ecru on March 1, 2024. A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM to honor his memory. The funeral service will take place at the Usher Valley United Methodist Church in Algoma on March 2, 2024. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects beginning at 1:00 PM.

Elon leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will also be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In this time of sorrow, let us remember Elon for the joy he brought into our lives and the light he shared with all whom he encountered. May his soul find eternal peace.
