Frankie Lane Evans, 69. born on July 11, 1955, in Alabama, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 28, 2025, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. He was a beloved figure in his community and is remembered fondly for his kindness and unwavering spirit.
Frankie's life was marked by the joy he brought to those around him. He cherished his family, and his legacy will continue through his brothers, Bishop Andre (Bernice) Evans and Derrick (Toni) Evans; a sister-in-law, Elwanda Evans, who stand as testaments to the love that Frankie fostered throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Delano Evans, and his mother, Nancy Lee Jackson. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Billy Wayne Evans. Their memories will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved them.
In honor of Frankie's life, a visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 AM at the Turkey Creek Church of God, located at 33 Blackberry Road, Sulligent, AL 35586. Family and friends are invited to come together to remember and celebrate the life of a truly remarkable man.
Frankie Lane Evans will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the opportunity to know him. His infectious smile and loving heart will live on in the stories shared and the memories cherished by those he leaves behind.
