Gene Arthur Beeks

Gene Arthur Beeks, 74, a cherished member of the Amory community, was born on May 29, 1950, in Smithville, Mississippi. He passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo Mississippi, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering support for his family and friends.

Gene will be remembered fondly by his beloved fiancée, Diane Pettway, who stood by his side with unwavering devotion. He is also survived by his brother, Jerry Beeks, along with his loving sisters, Wanda Beeks, Alpha Beeks, and Sonya Pruitt. The bonds Gene shared with his family were a testament to the deep ties of love and loyalty that he nurtured throughout his life.

Gene was a beloved son of, Hazel Beeks(Mother), who undoubtedly shaped him into the man he became. 

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Gene's life during the visitation scheduled for Sunday, November 3, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Amory, Mississippi. A celebration of life will follow on Monday, November 4, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM at the Freemans Chapel Holy Baptist Church, where loved ones will gather to honor his memory and share stories of his remarkable life.

Gene Arthur Beeks will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. His warm spirit, compassionate heart, and joyful presence leave an indelible mark on the lives he touched.
