Georgia Freelon Campbell

It is with our heartfelt, most-deepest sympathy that we announce the passing of Pastor Evangelist Georgia Freelon Campbell, 80, on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Calhoun City, MS.  Georgia was born on February 20, 1944 in Coffeeville - Yalobusha County - MS  to the late, Lonzell Freelon and Ida V. Lester. She is survived by 4 sons:  Allen Campbell, Darrick Campbell, Paul Campbell, and Daniel Campbell; 4 daughters: Angela Mhoon, Melodia Campbell - Davis; Sahara Campbell, and Ronise Campbell, 2 brothers: Danny Lester and Larry Lester; and 1 sister: Bonnie Lester.  A visitation for Pastor Evangelist Georgia Freelon Campbell will be held at The Church Of God Our Father & Lord Jesus Christ Church located in Calhoun City, MS on Saturday, June 1, 2024 during the hours of 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Homegoing Celebration will be on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 2:00 PM at New Hope Church of  God In Christ in Bruce, MS.
