Harold Jackson was a life long resident of Calhoun County. Jackson was married to Maggie Mae Doss and one child was born, Nancy Dianne Jackson of Derma, MS.

Jackson was a member of Independent Full Gospel Church in Vardaman,MS.

Jackson retired from Brookwood Furniture in Bruce and was past president of the Calhoun County NAACP. He served as a dispatcher for the Calhoun County Sheriff Department and worked for Belle Memorial Funeral Home for 10 years.

Jackson was preceded in death by his father, mother and three brothers, Howard Jackson, Jimmy Jackson and Billy Jackson.

Jackson leaves to mourn his passing, Maggie Mae Doss Jackson, one daughter, Dianne Jackson of Derma, MS.; two grandchildren,; two brothers, Robert W.(Monette)Jackson of Calhoun County,MS and Joe(Debra)Jackson of Zion, ILL and a host of nieces,nephews and friends.
