Henry L. Crothers, Jr. (Tippy)

Henry L. Crothers, Jr. (Tippy), 70 of Aberdeen died Oct. 6, 2013 in Prairie.

He confessed hope in Christ at Baptist Grove M.B. Church.

He attended the Prairie School System. In 1963, Henry moved to Chicago, IL where he worked as a construction worker for many years. In 1972 he moved back to Mississippi, and retired from the City of Aberdeen Waste Management System.

Henry was formerly married to Etta (Mert) Brisco of Maywood, IL. To this union two children were born, Henry E. Crothers and Anthony K. Crothers, who preceded their father in death.

He is survived by 2 sons, Gerry Cunningham of Okolona and Stephen Cousin of Westpoint, 2 daughters, Tricia A. Cunningham of Prairie and Donecie Johnson of Crawford

Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Baptist Grove M.B. Church in Prairie

Burial will be in Baptist Grove Cemetery
