Hosie Lee Hych

Hosie Lee Hych, 71, was born on July 4, 1953, in Calhoun, Mississippi, left this world peacefully on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Calhoun City, MS.

A son of the late Hosie Hych (Father) and Meredith Louise Pryor (Mother), he carried the memories of his parents with him throughout his life. Their values and teachings shaped him, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Hosie’s journey through life was one marked by kindness, integrity, and a deep sense of community. He will be remembered for his vibrant spirit and commitment to making the lives of others better. His presence brought joy and comfort to many, and he will be greatly missed.

The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in celebrating Hosie’s life. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at God's Word Ministry, located at 109 Main Street, Derma, MS 38839. The Celebration of Life will follow on Saturday, September 7, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, located at 11 County Road 361, Calhoun City, MS 38916.

Hosie Lee Hych leaves behind a legacy of love and friendship, and his memory will forever resonate in the hearts of  his 2 Sons; 1 Daughter; 4 Brothers; 6 Sisters; 9 Grandchildren; 17 Great-Grandchildren; and all those who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.
