Icy Bell Shaw, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away on September 23, 2023, in Calhoun County, MS. She was born on May 15, 1941, in Big Creek, MS.

Icy will be remembered as a kind-hearted woman who touched the lives of many. Her legacy will live on through her loving family and the cherished memories they shared together.

She is survived by her devoted son Jimmy Shaw and three loving daughters Brenda Smith, Arnitta Pryor, and Nannette Duff. Icy's children were the light of her life, and she always made sure their happiness came first. She leaves behind a lasting impression of love and dedication to her family.

In addition to her children, Icy is also survived by her brothers Jessie Armstrong, Johnny Armstrong, John Earl Armstrong, Willie Dorrough, and sister Mae Jean Vaughn. They shared a strong bond that brought them together during both joyful and challenging times.

Icy's warm presence extended beyond her immediate family. She had a gift for making lifelong friendships and leaves behind countless friends who will miss her dearly. Her infectious laughter and caring nature were truly one of a kind.

A visitation in honor of Icy's life will take place at Belle Memorial Funeral Home - Bruce on September 29, 2023. The visitation will begin at 4:00 PM and conclude at 6:00 PM. Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects during this time.

The funeral service for Icy Bell Shaw will be held on September 30, 2023, at Jackson Chapel MB Church in Bruce. The service will commence at 11:00 AM and will be a time for all those who knew Icy to come together to celebrate her life.
