James H. Scott, Jr. was born in Monroe County,MS to the late James Scott and Mary Francis Moore Scott.
He confessed hope in Christ at an earyl age at MT. Union Missionary Baptist Church. After relocating to St Louis, MO, he joined Greater Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church.
James worked in construction. He was also a master mechanic and owned Hodiamont Body Shop in St. Louis. He loved to sing, enjoyed his family and his life.
He leaves to celebrate his life; son,James Scott,Jr; daughters,Rebecca Pickings,Fannie Warren,Thelma Moore,Ann Whitfield,Candice Jones and Veda Scott; Stepdaughter,Tabitha Scott; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Scott(Janet);sisters, Essie Lee Brand,Mary Ann scott, Martha Ann Parson, Mary S. Stewart and the late Thelma Smith; a special, longtime friend, Esteia Brooks; and a host of nieces,nephews,cousins and friends.
