Janice F. Petty

Janice F. Petty, 66, beloved mother, and friend, passed away on Friday, June  28, 2024 at the Texoma Healthcare Center in Sherman ~ Grayson County ~ Texas. She was born on December 4, 1957. Janice's bright spirit and kind-hearted nature touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Janice will be dearly missed by her surviving family members including her, children, grandchildren and extended family. Her presence brought joy and warmth to family gatherings and her memory will forever hold a special place in their hearts.

Friends community members are invited to pay their respects at the visitation, which will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mays Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Pittsboro, Mississippi. A Celebration of Life ceremony will immediately follow starting at 11:00 AM at the same location as we honor Janice's life and legacy.

Janice's unwavering love for her family and friends, her infectious laughter, and her compassionate nature will always be remembered. May she rest in peace knowing that she was cherished by many and that her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
