Jerry Dale Dunlap

Jerry Dale Dunlap, 66,  a husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at the North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. He was born in Amory - Monroe County - MS on October 28, 1957, to his loving parents, the late T.C. Dunlap and the late Alene Wells.

Throughout his life, Jerry touched the hearts of all who knew him. He had a warm and compassionate nature that drew people towards him. Jerry's infectious smile and positive attitude were a source of inspiration to his family and friends.

Jerry will be fondly remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family. His wife Cynthia Wood - Dunlap remained his faithful companion through thick and thin. Together they created a home filled with love and laughter. Jerry's love for his children knew no bounds; he cherished the time spent with his sons Romill Dunlap, Stephan Dunlap, and Cody Wood and daughter Katelynn Wood.

Family was an integral part of Jerry's life. He shared an unbreakable bond with his brother Willie Wells and sister Selene Dunlap. They stood by each other's side through life's joys and sorrows, providing unwavering support.

Jerry was a pillar of strength within his community. His warm heart extended beyond those closest to him, reaching out to help anyone in need. He approached life with kindness and generosity, touching the lives of many.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at the Belle Memorial Funeral Home Chapel  in Amory. The service will begin at 12:30 PM, allowing friends and family to come together to remember and celebrate Jerry's remarkable life. The address for the service is located at 807 108th St., Amory, MS 38821.

Jerry Dale Dunlap leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be treasured by all those who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will forever remain in our hearts, serving as a reminder of the power of love, laughter, and compassion.
