It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gimmie Lee Pruitt. She was a cherished daughter, sister, and friend whose warm presence touched the lives of many. Gimmie was called to her eternal home on October 27, 2023 in Aliceville, Alabama.

Gimmie was born on October 6, 1962, in Tupelo - Lee County, Mississippi to the late John Robert Pruitt and Hazel Beeks. She had a close bond with her loving parents, who provided her with a nurturing environment that shaped the compassionate woman she became.

Throughout her life, Gimmie radiated kindness and possessed an unwavering dedication to those she loved. Her friendship knew no bounds as she effortlessly connected with those around her. Gimmie's infectious laughter and genuine smile will continue to be remembered by all fortunate enough to have known her.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will be forever cherished by her surviving family members. Gimmie is survived by her brothers Gene Arthur Beeks of Amory, MS and Jerry Beeks of Amory, MS, and her sisters Wanda Beeks of Washington, DC, Alpha Beeks of Aliceville, AL, and Sonya McMath of Amory, MS. She held a special place in their hearts and shared countless joyful memories with each of them.

The memory of Gimmie's spirit will live on through the lives she touched. She devoted herself to helping others and embraced every opportunity to lend a helping hand. Her selflessness knew no bounds as she extended herself for the betterment of those around her. Gimmie's compassionate nature made her a beloved figure within her community.

A visitation will be held in honor of Gimmie Lee Pruitt on November 4, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Amory, Mississippi. This will be an opportunity for friends and loved ones to gather, share stories, and offer comfort to one another during this difficult time.

A funeral service will follow on November 5, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Miracle Revival Center, located at 700 109th Street in Amory, Mississippi. This service will be a celebration of Gimmie's life and an opportunity for all those whose lives she touched to pay their last respects.

Although Gimmie has departed from our physical world, her memory will forever live on in our hearts. She was a beacon of light, offering love and support to those in need. Her legacy will continue to inspire acts of kindness and compassion for generations to come.
