Joe Hervy

​Mr. Joe Hervy, 87 of Pontotoc, MS died Saturday, May 6, 2017 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo. MS. He was born to the late Willie and Ellen Hervy.

​Services: 12 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Belle Memorial Funeral Chapel, Bruce, MS

​Visitation: One hour prior to funeral service 11-12 p.m.

Cemetery: Bruce Community Cemetery

​Joe enlisted into the U S Army in 1952 and was a veteran of the Korean War. He resided in both California and Oklahoma. In recent years he returned back to Mississippi and resided in Pontotoc . While there he spent most of his time tending and riding horses until his health failed

​He is survived by one sister, Lucille White, Pittsboro, MS and one brother Sylvester (Rosie) Hervy of Bruce. and a host of nieces, nephews and relatives
