John Wesley Keaton

John Wesley Keaton, 78, a beloved husband, brother, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, in Hamilton, Mississippi. Born on July 12, 1946, in Hamilton - Monroe County - Mississippi. John lived a life that touched many with his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering spirit.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Sarah Enis Keaton; his brother, Tommy Lee Keaton; and his sister, Betty Jean Keaton; one daughter: Lowanda Keaton; two step-sons: Christiopher Enis and Charles Johnson; two step-daughters: Imelda Enis and Jacqueline Enis. John was preceded in death by his father: William Keaton, Sr., and his mother: Betty Lou Willis-Keaton, who instilled in him the values of hard work and compassion. John was also preceded in death by two daughters: Suwanda Keaton and Michelle Keaton; seven brothers: James L. Keaton, William Keaton, Jr., Lander Keaton, George Keaton, Marvin Keaton, Joe Henry Keaton, Johnny Keaton; and one sister: Sally Mae Verner.

John's life will be honored with a Visitation on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 1:00 PM at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, located at 40154 Caledonia Road, Hamilton, MS 39746.

His memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends, who are left to carry on his legacy of love and dedication.
