Whereas God in his infinite wisdom and divine love has called from our midst our friend and loved one, Johnny Ray Pierce on Sunday, May 1, 2011. Johnny was born on June 21, 1958 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Gus and Luella Pierce in Monroe County. He confessed faith in Christ at an early age at Pilgrim Rest MB Church, where he remained a member until death. Before becoming incapable to work due to illiness, Johnny was faithful to the Monroe County community as an EMT, Firefighter, and bail bondsman. His later years of employment were with Air Cap MTD Inc.. When Johnny wasn't working, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Johnny was preceded in death by his mother and father Mr and Mrs Gus and Luella Pierce, one sister, Mary Wesley and one brother, Gus Pierce, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory three childen, Lashonda Hoskins of Southhaven, MS, Tamera Lindsey of Aberdeen, MS, and Darron Doss(Ebonie) of Starkville, MS; six sisters, Leaner Richardson and Amaree Allen(Milton) both of Parkin, AR, Henrietta Smith (Daniel) and Louise Julien both of Milwaukee, WI, Anna Clopton (Ordell) and Debra Kyles (James) both of Aberdeen, MS; and three brothers, Willliam Pierce (Elaine) of Edgewood, MA James Pierce and Abraham Pierce both of Aberdeen, MS; three grandchildren, three aunts, one uncle and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
