Julia B. (Dobbs) Terrell, 61, beloved wife, sister, and friend, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023, in Aberdeen - Monroe County, Mississippi. She was born on February 24, 1962, in Aberdeen - Monroe County, Mississippi. Julia's warm and compassionate nature touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Julia was a loving daughter to her father L. C. Dobbs and mother Christine Acker. She had a strong bond with her family and cherished the time spent with them. Julia's late brothers Melvin Dobbs, Jerome Dobbs and Lee Andrew Dobbs; and late sisters, Lizzie Mae "Munchie" White and Earline Dobbs were incredibly dear to her heart, and she shared many beautiful memories with them. Julia's memories will be cherished by her brothers, Donnie Ray (Barbara) Dobbs, Calvin Dobbs, and Alvin Dobbs; and her sisters Lucy Keys, Linda (R. C.) Brown, Ruthie (Dale) Barr, Brenda (Michael) Cummings, and Irene (Victor).
Julia embarked on a journey of love and commitment as she married the love of her life, Mack Terrell. Together they built a life filled with joy and happiness. Mack was Julia's rock and constant source of support throughout their years together.
Julia will be remembered for her kind heart and selfless nature. She had an unwavering devotion to her faith and was an active member of Carter's Chapel Faith Temple in Amory, Mississippi. Her involvement in the church community brought comfort and joy to those around her.
Visitation services for Julia will take place at Carter's Chapel Faith Temple in Amory on Sunday, November 26th, 2023 at 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM. This will be an opportunity for family and friends to come together to pay their respects and share cherished memories of Julia.
Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at Carter's Chapel Faith Temple from 12:00 PM on Sunday, November 26, 2023. The service will serve as a celebration of Julia's remarkable life and the impact she had on those around her.
