Kimberly LaJoyce Adair, Ph.D., 48, a beloved music teacher, accomplished musician, and singer, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the North Mississippi Medical Center ~ Gilmore in Amory, MS. Born on July 22, 1976, in Amory, Monroe County, MS, Kimberly's passion for music flourished throughout her life, inspiring countless students and fellow musicians alike.
As a dedicated educator, Kimberly's commitment to nurturing young talent in music was evident in her remarkable teaching career. Her influence extended far beyond the classroom, where she fostered a love for music that resonated with her students and the community.
Kimberly is survived by her loving mother, Gayle Adair; her cherished sister, Andrea Y. Copeland; and her beloved brothers, Mitchell B. Adair and Jeremy C. Adair. Each of them carries with them the invaluable lessons and the joy of music that Kimberly so generously shared.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mitchell L. Adair, who will always be remembered in the hearts of those who loved Kimberly.
The community is invited to join the family in celebrating Kimberly's life and legacy. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home, located at 216 Hwy 25 South, PO Box 129, Aberdeen, MS 39730. A Celebration of Life will follow on Saturday, October 26, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM at Red Bud Missionary Baptist Church, 950 County Road 173, Okolona, MS 38860.
Kimberly LaJoyce Adair's spirit will live on in the harmony of the music she loved and the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.
