L. C. "Jack"Betts, 90, a beloved member of the Aberdeen community, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 in Aberdeen, MS. He was born on December 4, 1933, in Aberdeen - Monroe County - MS, to his late father, Ollie Betts and mother, Icy Bell Turnipseed.

L. C. Betts was a proud father to Robert Muhammad and Jeffery Jones, his loving sons. He cherished his daughters Jackie Betts, Mary Betts, Barbara Betts, and Margaret Alexander dearly. Additionally, he had a close bond with his sisters Joann Ruff and Ollie Hamilton. L.C's family meant the world to him, and he made sure to create a home filled with love, laughter, and support.

L.C's journey through life was one characterized by resilience and perseverance. He faced challenges head-on while maintaining an unwavering spirit. His determination inspired those around him and taught valuable lessons about strength and courage.

A visitation in memory of L. C. Betts will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen, MS.
