Lewis Edward Wax

Lewis Edward Wax, 58, born in Amory, Mississippi, on January 12, 1967, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, Mississippi. 

Lewis was the beloved son of the late John Houston Wax and Ruth Ann Roberts Wax. He is fondly remembered by his son, Nicholas Blake Wax, who will carry forward his father's legacy with love and admiration.

A visitation in honor of Lewis will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Belle Memorial Funeral Home located at 807 108th St., Amory, MS. Following this, a Celebration of Life service will take place on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Spruell Chapel United Methodist Church, beginning at 12:00 PM. The church is located at 60062 Forrester Lane, Smithville, MS.

Lewis's life was filled with cherished memories and connections, and he will be deeply missed by all those who knew him. His spirit will live on through his son and through the hearts of family and friends who were touched by his kindness and generosity. As we gather to celebrate his life, we remember the joy he brought to our lives and the love he shared with his family.
