Lisa Jackson, a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend passed away on May 23rd, 2023 at NMMC in West Point, MS. Born in Aberdeen, MS on January 8th, 1970 to Anderson and Rosie Lee Jackson.
Lisa was never one to shy away from hard work. She instilled those values in her children Kelisha Jackson, Charquita Cannon and Marquis Cannon encouraging them every step of the way during their childhoods. In later years she saw her grandchildren Haylee Shelton Jevonte McCullough, Celeste Jackson and Khloe Jackson come into the world whom she loved dearly.
On June 2nd, 2023 Lisa was sent off with a funeral service at Third Mt Olive M. B. Church in West Point where family friends and other loved ones came to pay tribute to a life well-lived. The service included heartfelt messages from family members who shared how Lisa had influenced their lives with her enduring spirit of dedication and love.
Lisa was always generous with her time for others going above and beyond to assist friends and family whenever needed. She is survived by her sisters: Murry Blanchard, Kathleen Robinson, Maggie Jackson, Miyon Franks-Moore, Janice Stevenson-McMillian, Monica Franks, Keyonna Franks, Josephine Stevenson, Shirley Franks; her longtime bestfriend/cousin Era Jean Walker and Deloise Ann Gaston; her brothers: Robert Jackson, Terry Stevenson, Antonio Franks, Willie Franks Jr., and Shawn Franks whom she loved deeply along with nieces, nephews, relatives, colleagues, and friends all who cherished every moment they spent in her presence.
Lisa is now in eternal peace with her parents and two sisters and one brother who preceded her in death yet will always be remembered by those who knew and loved her for the boundless love she had for everyone around her.
