Madelyn Alexis Garth

Madelyn Alexis Garth, 17, born on July 10, 2006, in Amory - Monroe County, Mississippi, peacefully passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024, at LeBonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Madelyn will be remembered fondly by all who knew her during her short yet impactful time on Earth. Her bright spirit and infectious laughter brought joy to those around her. was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her loving father: John Smith Jr.;  her dear mother:  Courtney Garth;  her caring brother:  Amare Vasser;  and her sisters:  Malaysia Garth and Mykia Moore. Madelyn's presence in their lives will be deeply missed.

The services to honor Madelyn's life will take place at Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen, Mississippi. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, starting at 3:00 PM and concluding at 6:00 PM. Following the visitation, a Funeral Service will be conducted from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on the same day. On Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Mount Olivet M.B. Church Cemetery in Aberdeen, a burial ceremony will commence at 12:00 noon.

Madelyn Garth's departure has left a void in the hearts of those who knew her best. May she rest in peace knowing she was cherished and adored by many. Her memory will forever remain as a beacon of light in the lives she touched.
