Marblen Clay

Marblen Clay, 72, born on September 5, 1951, in Aberdeen - Monroe County - MS, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at the West Point Community Living Center in West Point, MS. 

Marblen's life will be celebrated through two memorable events. The visitation will take place on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Belle Memorial Funeral Home Chapel  located at 216 Hwy 25 South, PO Box 129 in Aberdeen, MS. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at the same location beginning at 2:00 PM. These gatherings will provide an opportunity for everyone whose lives Marblen touched to come together and share cherished memories.

Born into the loving arms of the late Elbert Lee Griffin (Father) and the late Classie Davis (Mother), Marblen grew up in a nurturing environment surrounded by her siblings. She was a beloved sister to Peter Griffin and Willie C. Griffin (Brothers); Cora Griffin, Betty Buckingham, Louise Roberson, and Clara Brandon (Sisters). The strength of their bond remained unbreakable throughout their lives.

Family meant everything to Marblen. She leaves behind her children David Griffin (Son); Irene Griffin, Corine Griffin, and Tracy Cook (Daughters). Their mother's love and support guided them through life's trials and triumphs.

Marblen's legacy extends beyond her immediate family as she cherished her friends as well. Her warm-heartedness had a way of making everyone feel valued and included. Countless friends will remember Marblen's infectious laughter and genuine compassion during their time spent together.

Marblen's memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. She may no longer be physically present, but her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us as we navigate our individual journeys.
