Marian Vasser

Marian Vasser, 72, born on September 6, 1952, in Aberdeen, Monroe County, Mississippi, peacefully passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025, in her hometown of Aberdeen. As a cherished member of her community, Marian touched the lives of many throughout her journey in this world.

Marian was the beloved daughter of Silas Vasser and Elizabeth Gettis Vasser, both of whom have preceded her in death. Their love and guidance influenced her life profoundly, instilling in her the values of kindness, compassion, and strength that she carried throughout her life.

The communities of Aberdeen and beyond are invited to honor Marian’s life during the visitation services, which will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the New Hebron Missionary Baptist Church, located at 20154 Egypt Road, Aberdeen, MS 39730. Following this, a Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2025, beginning at 12:00 PM, also at the New Hebron Missionary Baptist Church.

Marian's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, as they gather to celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who made an indelible mark on her community and those she loved. She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering spirit.
