Mary Lillian Young

Mary Lillian "Baby Sister" Young, 74, born on September 13, 1949 in Tupelo, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 10,  2024, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Mary lived a life filled with warmth and compassion, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she.

Mary was the proud mother of two daughters, Shandra Young and Jynah French, who carry on her cherished legacy. She shared a special bond with her children, often guiding them with wisdom and love. She also leaves to cherish her precious memories, three brothers. Mary is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Lillian Young.

As a community member, Mary touched the lives of many and was known for her kindness and generosity. Her presence will certainly be missed among her family and friends, but her love will continue to resonate within their hearts.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home located at 807 108th St., Amory, MS 38821. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Amory First Global Methodist Church, situated at 107 3rd Street South, Amory, MS 38821, concluding at 2:00 PM.

Mary Lillian Young’s memory will forever be honored and remembered by those who loved her.
