Meta Agnes Hampton, 88 of Aberdeen, MS died Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Gilmore Memorial Hospital of Amory.

Services will be held Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Athens U.M. Church at 2 p.m.

Visitation will be Friday, April 18, 2014 from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home

Burial will be in the Burns Cemetery in Athens

She is survived by 3 sons, Lewis Hampton and Clyde Hampton of Aberdeen, Curtis Hampton, Columbus, 8 daughters, Dorothy Gilleylen, Mae Hampton, Rena Thompson, Grand Rapids, MI, Annie Hampton, Grand Rapids, MI, Mary Pounds, Carnell Hampton, Mazie Moore, and Gloria Sims all of Aberdeen, 1 brother, Edward Clay, Denver, Co, 1 sister, Flossie Dunlap, 40 grandchildren, 73 great grandchildren, and 40 great great grandchildren
