Michael Lenard Griffin, 61 of Wren, MS died Thursday, November 12, 2015 at his home.

Services: Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Union Grove U.M. Church, Nettleton, MS

Interment: Union Grove Church Cemetery

Michael served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Michigan, He was also a Karate instructor, He was employed in Tupelo as a MDOC probation officer for several years, he worked as a police officer for Nettleton Police Department, Aberdeen Police Department, and was currently employed with the Columbus Police Department

He is survived by his wife, Roseanne Griffin, two sons, Timothy and Carl Griffin, one daughter, Keiko Griffin-Woods, one brother, Lee Floyd Pierce, and two sisters, Lisa Birks and Mary Brown, and six grandchildren
