Michael Jones

Michael Jones, born on December 9th, 1963, passed away on May 31st, 2023 in Tupelo, MS surrounded by his loving family. He will be remembered as a devoted father, son, brother and friend.

Michael is survived by his children Michael Gardner, Johnatan Gardner, John Michael Jones and Maichaela Jones. He also leaves behind his step-daughter Taylor Durden and siblings Edward Jones, Larry Jones, Patricia Jones, Lisa Jones-Litton and Blenda Jones. As well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Michael was the beloved son of Annie Lee Jones and James Carothers, who preceded him in death. Throughout his life he always remained close to his family and cherished the relationships with his parents and siblings.

Services for Michael will be held at Belle Memorial Funeral Home on June 9th from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm for visitation and on June 10th at Ebenezer M. B. Church starting at 11:00 am for the funeral service.

Michael's life was one of determination and hard work but that never stopped him from enjoying it to the fullest. He had a passion for fishing and could often be found casting a line with one of his sons or friends beside him. When off the water he enjoyed spending time with his family who he held dear to his heart.

Although he may no longer be with us in person, Michael's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him best. We extend our deepest condolences to Michael's family and friends during this difficult time.
