Mollie Ann Hatchet, 72, a cherished daughter, loving mother, and esteemed member of her community, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 8, 2025, in Bruce, Mississippi. Born on July 21, 1952, in Calhoun County, Mississippi, Mollie brought joy and warmth to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Mollie is survived by her loving Mother, Lillie Marzetti, her three beloved daughters: Alexis Eacholes, Sharon Hatchet, and Sesame Hall. She unconditionally supported and uplifted her family, embodying the true spirit of motherhood through her laughter, kindness, and unwavering dedication. Each of her daughters carries forward her legacy of love and compassion, fondly remembering the countless moments they spent together.
Mollie was preceded in death by her Father, Fred Vaughn, whose influence shaped the person she became. His guidance and values were instrumental throughout her life, nurturing her strength and resilience.
In honoring her life, friends and family are invited to attend a Visitation on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 4 PM to 6 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce, Mississippi. The following day, Sunday, January 19, 2025, a Celebration of Life will take place at New Hope Church Of God In Christ at 1 PM, where all will gather to remember and celebrate Mollie's remarkable journey.
Mollie Ann Hatchet's spirit will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind, and her memory will forever be a guiding light for her family and friends.
