Peggy Ann Roach, 61, a beloved fixture in the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing her, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025, in Starkville, Oktibbeha County, Mississippi. Born on July 21, 1963, in West Point, Clay County, Mississippi, Peggy dedicated her life to her family, her career, and her community.
For many years, Peggy served as a secretary at Mississippi State University, where she was known for her diligence, professionalism, and warm smile. Her contributions extended beyond her workplace; she was an unwavering supporter of her family and an inspiration to friends and colleagues alike. Peggy had an innate ability to foster relationships, ensuring that everyone felt valued and included in her presence.
Peggy's legacy continues through her surviving family members: her son Jonathan T. Roach and her daughter Amber Nicole Roach. She is also survived by three brothers and two sisters, who share cherished memories of her love, laughter, and unwavering support.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mose Holliday, Jr., and her mother, Ada Mae Bynum, who undoubtedly laid the foundation for the compassionate and caring individual she became.
In honor of her life, a visitation will take place at Lake Grove Missionary Baptist Church, located at 6260 Lake Grove Road in Prairie, Mississippi, on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Celebration of Life will follow immediately, allowing friends and family to reflect on Peggy's remarkable journey and the abundant love she shared.
Peggy Ann Roach's spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
