Sallie Lee Edmond

Mrs. Sallie Lee Edmond, 88 of Aberdeen died Sunday, July 14, 2013 at her home.

She was a member of Johnson Chapel Holiness Church where she served as the mother until her death. She was the back bone of her family, she loved to cook, work in her flowers, and take care her of her dog. Last but not least she believed in serving the Lord and living a holy life.

Services will be held Friday, July 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Johnson Chapel Holiness Church.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 3-5 p.m. at the funeral chapel.

Burial will be in Oddfellows Rest Cemetery.

She is Survived by six children, Christine (Lemon) Young, Aberdeen, Betty Hardy, Chicago, IL, Turner (Linda) Edmond, Columbus, OH, Leon (Evelyn) Edmond, Chicago, IL, Angie (Cecil) Belle, Aberdeen, and Lessie (James) Howell, Aberdeen, 18 grandchildren, and host of grand and great grand children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Turner Edmond.
