Samuel E. Hughes, Jr., 68, beloved son, father, and friend, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at the Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. He was born on March 26, 1955, in Okolona, Chickasaw County, Mississippi.
Samuel was a kind-hearted and compassionate man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He touched the lives of many with his warm smile and generous spirit. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of his family and friends that can never be filled.
Samuel's life will be celebrated through two important events. On Tuesday, February 20, 2024, a visitation will be held at Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Amory between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Samuel was the son of Samuel E. Hughes Sr. and Virginia White, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his cherished children: Demario Hughes (son) and Daryl Hall (son), and Denise Hall (daughter).
