Shelia Ann James

Shelia Ann James, 57, a beloved member of her family and community, was born on June 22, 1967, in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. She departed this world peacefully on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories.

Shelia was the daughter of Robert James and Willie Mae James. She will be deeply missed by her devoted mother, Willie Mae James, and her close-knit family, including her daughters: Tarika Wilson, Erica Wilson, Jenna Bowman, Natasha Bowman, Amanda Swain, and Ashley Swain. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support will forever be remembered by her siblings: Robert James, Jr., Darnell James, Shevete James, and Sheri James Wells.

As we celebrate her life, friends and family are invited to join in honoring Shelia's memory during a visitation on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life that will take place beginning at 2:00. Both services will be held at Daniel Missionary Baptist Church, located at 1516 South Matubba Street, Aberdeen, MS 39730.

Shelia’s legacy will continue to shine through the lives she touched and the love she freely gave. She will remain in the hearts of those who knew her, and her spirit will be carried forward by her family and friends.
