Sylvester Willinson

Sylvester  Willinson, (aka JACK MOORE) known for his contagious smile, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN. He was born on June 13, 1948, in Bruce, MS. He dedicated many years of his life to working at Memphis Hardwood until he retired. His pleasant demeanor made Sylvester memorable and loved by all.

Sylvester had a passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding four-wheelers. A kind-hearted man who found joy in simple pleasures and was content with the life he lived.

Sylvester has left a lasting impression on many people during his lifetime. On June 23rd at Clear Springs CME Church in Big Creek, friends and family will gather for a visitation service from 1 PM to 2 PM to celebrate Sylvester's life before the funeral service at 2 PM 

Sylvester is survived by his son Terry Harvey, daughter Waktia Harvey and brother Lonnie Harvey. His positive spirit and caring nature will be missed by those who loved him.

May his soul rest in peace as we remember him with fondness for a life well-lived.
