Tara Shana Jones

Tara Shana Jones, 42, born on May 26, 1981, bid her final farewell on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many. Tara's life will be celebrated during the upcoming services.

The visitation to honor Tara's memory will take place on Saturday, March 9, 2024, starting at 10:00 AM at the Christian Fellowship Branch of The Vine Church in Houston, MS. Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects during this time of remembrance.

Following the visitation, a Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM on the same day at the Christian Fellowship Branch of The Vine Church. Her loved ones will gather to commemorate Tara's life and legacy with heartfelt tributes and fond memories.

Tara Jones leaves behind her husband, Douglas Jones; son Douglas Jones III; daughters Tu'Kiyah Holland, Shakyra Jones, and Ashley Jones; parents David West and Eliza Mays-West; as well as brothers David West, Clevis West, and Christopher Johnson. In this time of loss, may they find solace in the cherished moments shared with Tara.

Tara was known for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family. Her presence brightened the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. As we mourn her passing, let us also celebrate the beautiful soul she was and the countless lives she touched during her time with us.
