Turner departed this life on December 3, 2011 at 3:44 AM at Pioneer Community Hospital in Aberdeen, MS. At a very early age Turner confessed hope in Christ and joined Third Union MB Church. Turner was preceded in death by five brothers; Walter, L C, Clemmie, Connie Mac and Andrew Doss, One sister, Ada Lou Doss, one sister-n-law, Dorothy Doss and one brother-N-Law, Douglas Jenkin. Turner leaves to cherish his memory, a loving and devoted wife of 46 years, Gladys Walker Doss of Prairie,MS, one son Dayron(Sandra)Doss of Prairie,MS. five daughters, Linda(Otha)Wofford, Sandra Doss(Richard), Shomona(Daniel)Cunningham all of Prairie,MS., Earnestine Lyons( Eddie) of Aberdeen,MS., and Dianie(Keith)Walker of Ypsilanti, MI., a very special neice,Tabitha(Norris)Blanchard of Aberdeen,MS. He also leaves five sisters, Annie Pearl(MC)Parson: Mary Louise(Earnest) Broyles of Prairie,MS.: Susie Jenkins of Jackson,MS; Betty Cook of Columbus,MS and Jessie Kate Wilson of Atlanta,GA; one brother, Earnest(Mattie)Doss of Aberdeen,MS.; five sisters-N-law, Queen Ester Hogan of West Point, MS; Lou Bertha Doss and Annie Doss of Aberdeen, MS; Betty Doss of Columbus,MS and Anneice Walker of Prairie,MS; one brother-N-law,Willie Walker of Prairie,MS. He also leaves to cherish his memory, 19 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; a host of neices,nephews, relatives and friends.
