Burial was in the Chickasaw Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Houston

He was born in Chickasaw County and attended the Houston School District. He was a member of Pleasant Grove M.B. Church in Buena Vista. He received his associate of arts degree from Mary Holmes Jr. College, and his Bachelor Degree from Westwood College and was scheduled to graduate with a Masters Degree in May 2013. He was employed with the Fulton County Sheriff Dept. and as a Security Officer at Lucky Air Force Base in Atlanta, GA.

He leaves his his parents Johnny and Maudine Walker of Houston, 2 sons Jarrod Jordan of Starkville and Justin Walker of Atlanta, GA and Yazmen Walker of Atlanta, GA. Daughters, Amberica Belim of Calhoun City, Ashley Boyd and Somonique Walker, brother Jonathan Walker of Jacksonville, FL and 1 sister, Kathy Hamilton of Houston, MS
