Vera M. Willis

Vera M. Willis, 75,  beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. She was born on April 14, 1948, in Columbus, Lowndes County, MS.

Vera will be deeply missed by her surviving family and friends: her loving daughter Lori Willis-McMillian; one grandson, Blake McMillian, brothers Maurice Crosby and Grady Shelly; sister Lonnice Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her dear father Grady Shelly and mother Susie Alexander.

The visitation to honor Vera's life will take place on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen, MS. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM at First Missionary Baptist Church in Aberdeen.

During her time with us, Vera touched the lives of many with her kindness and gentle spirit. She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. May she rest in peace.
