Willie Walter Wilson, 82, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend gained his wings to glory on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Diversicare Health Care in Tupelo, MS. Willie was born to the late Walter King Wilson and Manervia Cunningham Wilson in Prairie, Monroe County, MS.

Willie will be fondly remembered by his sisters: Annie Demory (Clarence), Jo Bradley (Wonzer), Manervia Riddick (Major), Joyce Cooper (Ralph), Betty Payton (George), and Laura Cross (late Vernon Cross). He is also survived by cherished nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.

In his journey through life Willie touched the hearts of many with his kindness, generosity, and warm spirit. He now rests peacefully as he reunites with his parents and brothers: Robert (Mane), Eric (E.K.), and John Emory Wilson.

The family will receive visitors and friends on Friday, May 3rd from 3:00pm - 5:00pm at Belle Memorial Funeral Home, 216 Hwy 25 S., Aberdeen, MS.

Homegoing Services will be held at Baptist Grove M. B. Church, 10024 Baptist Grove Rd., Prairie, MS 39756 on Saturday, May 4th at 11:00am.

Although Willie will be greatly missed, we celebrate a life well lived and a soul that brought light to those around him. May his memory continue to inspire love and compassion in all that knew him.
